About Taylor:
Hi, I’m Taylor! I’m a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist who believes that true healing comes from connecting the mind and body. My approach is rooted in humanistic and Gestalt principles, which means I focus on helping you sit with your emotions, explore your experiences, and discover what healing looks like for you. I use a variety of therapeutic methods, but I always tailor my work to fit each person’s unique story and needs.
Education:
I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Behavioral Sciences with an emphasis in Sociology from Concordia University in 2011. Later, I received my Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy from National University. These experiences helped shape the compassionate, person-centered approach I bring to my work today.
Experience:
I’ve been working in the mental health field for over ten years and have had the privilege of supporting adolescents, young adults, and adults through some of life’s toughest challenges. My experience includes helping people navigate depression, anxiety, impulsivity, emotional distress, addiction, and behavioral concerns. I also have experience working with individuals living with schizophrenia and intellectual disabilities. No matter what brings someone to therapy, I’m passionate about walking alongside them as they find growth, clarity, and balance in their lives.
