About Samantha:
As a Licensed Clinical Intern, I am dedicated to supporting individuals, couples, and families as they navigate life’s challenges and uncover their inherent strengths. My therapeutic approach integrates evidence-based modalities—including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Therapy—with creative interventions such as role-play and play therapy. I believe in treating the whole person—not just the presenting problem. My work often includes a holistic lens that considers the mind–body connection, as well as the impact of nutrition and lifestyle on emotional well-being. Whether you are healing from trauma, navigating relationship concerns, or adjusting to life transitions, I strive to provide a safe, compassionate, and supportive space where you can build resilience, gain clarity, and create meaningful, lasting change.
Education:
I hold a Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, with a focus on clinical practice and mental health counseling. I also hold a Clinical Social Work Intern License, allowing me to provide supervised therapeutic services as I continue developing my clinical expertise.
Experience:
In my role as a Licensed Clinical Intern, I have experience working with individuals, couples, and families to address a wide range of emotional and relational challenges. I utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities—including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Therapy—and incorporate creative interventions such as role-play and play therapy to enhance engagement and insight. My clinical work reflects a holistic approach that attends to the whole person, integrating mind–body awareness and exploring how nutrition and lifestyle influence emotional well-being. I have supported clients through trauma recovery, relationship issues, anxiety, depression, and major life transitions, providing a safe, supportive environment that fosters resilience, clarity, and meaningful, long-term change.
