We do not currently offer psychiatry or medication management. However, we can refer you to trusted providers in the community.
Do you offer couples therapy?
Absolutely. Our team includes licensed marriage and family therapists and relationship counselors who specialize in helping couples strengthen and repair their relationships.
What types of Therapy do you offer?
We provide therapy for individuals, couples, families, children (as young as age 3), and teens. Our team includes specialists trained in child, adolescent, and relationship-focused therapies.

How do I know if a therapist is the right fit?
A strong therapeutic relationship is the key to success. Our therapists use various approaches, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Psychodynamic Therapy. You may prefer a goal-oriented approach, open-ended exploration, or a combination. We’ll work with you to match you with someone whose style resonates with you.

What is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW or LICSW)?
An LCSW or LICSW is a master’s or PhD-level clinician trained to assess, diagnose, and treat mental health conditions. They are licensed to provide therapy, develop treatment plans, and support overall well-being.
What is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)?
LMFTs specialize in relationship and family dynamics. They are trained to help couples and families navigate mental health issues, communication challenges, and interpersonal conflicts.
What is a Professional Counselor (LPC, LCPC, LPCC, LMHC)?
These are licensed mental health professionals with advanced degrees who treat a wide range of emotional and psychological issues. License names vary by state, but each meets rigorous education and clinical requirements.
What is a Licensed Psychologist?
Licensed Psychologists hold a doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD), complete extensive post-doctoral training, and are licensed to diagnose and treat mental health disorders. They also provide psychological assessments and evaluations.

Does Aloha Care Therapy verify insurance coverage?
Yes, we verify your mental health benefits before your first session and will help you understand your coverage, co-pays, and any out-of-pocket costs.
Does my insurance cover therapy?
Coverage varies. Check your Explanation of Benefits (EOB) to confirm mental health benefits, co-pays, deductibles, and whether your provider is in-network. If you haven’t met your deductible, you may be responsible for full payment until it is met.
What are your self-pay rates?
