About Cassandra:
I believe that no one should have to walk through life’s hardest transitions alone. For more than three decades, I have served as a behavioral health professional and hospice leader, helping families find their footing through grief and serious illness. My approach is rooted in the belief that true healing happens when we address the whole person—emotionally, spiritually, and socially. Whether through my leadership in the community, my ministry, or my current clinical training as a Marriage and Family Therapist Intern, my goal remains the same: to provide a compassionate space for growth and healing. Beyond my clinical work, I am the co-founder of the Neba L. Wright Foundation, where we focus on providing the education and support necessary to navigate the journey of grief.
Education:
Cassandra’s multidisciplinary expertise is supported by an advanced academic background, including a Master of Arts in Marriage, Family, and Couples Therapy and a Master of Public Administration with a focus on Leadership, Public Policy, and Organizational Management. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Services, bridging the gap between clinical practice, community advocacy, and high-level organizational leadership.
Experience:
With over 30 years of professional experience, I have a proven track record of supporting families through their most difficult moments. After a distinguished 30-year tenure at Nathan Adelson Hospice—focusing on interdisciplinary collaboration and patient advocacy—I shifted my focus to clinical therapy. As an MFT Intern, I now conduct clinical assessments and develop tailored treatment plans for grief and trauma, ensuring that every client receives ethically grounded, evidence-based care that promotes long-term emotional wellness.
