About Annette:
Annette, a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Nevada, has a passion for helping others and her dedication to professional growth have been evident throughout her academic journey. She has actively sought out opportunities to expand her knowledge and skills in the field of counseling.
During her undergraduate studies, Annette participated in research projects that explored the effectiveness of various therapeutic interventions for individuals with behavioral disorders. This hands-on experience allowed her to gain a deeper understanding of the practical applications of psychological theories.
Education:
Annette obtained her bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a specialization in applied behavioral analysis from Kaplan University (now Purdue University Global Online) in 2016. She then pursued her education and earned a Masters degree in clinical psychology from Capella University in 2020.
Experience:
Annette has collaborated closely with individuals in the parole and probation population, acknowledging the profound impact of life experiences on present circumstances and future planning.
She recognizes that addressing past traumas can enhance decision-making abilities, and believes that tackling anxiety, depression, and other mental health challenges begins with comprehending the reciprocal relationship between the mind and body.
